I'm just wondering. Though both shows are very different, they have always struck me as pretty similar too, in a way. For once, they both premiered in 2005, and they both have a pretty big and dedicated fanbase. And while "Supernatural" is about two brothers [hunters] who travel around USA and hunt down monsters, "Criminal Minds" is about a team of profiles who travel around USA and catch serial killers (and, sometimes, spree killers, serial rapists, abductors etc.). The Ecocity Solution Video demonstrates how environment works to make urban sustainability a reality. Plus, FBI seems to have a habit of suspecting that Dean and Sam are serial killers."Criminal Minds", being creepy in its own way, has dabbled into such themes from time to time, though with a strong element of rational deniability. I think the best examples are episodes 3x8 "Lucky" and 7x19 "Heathridge Manor". And though 10x21 "Mr. Scratch" doesn't really delve into supernatural (ha), it is definitely creepy.
